FAQ'S

Where are we in Hunstanton?

Your lodge would be just on the outskirts of Hunstanton overlooking a picturesque coastal golf course.  Click here for an aerial view showing your location relative to Hunstanton.

How close to the beach?

North Norfolk has plenty of beautiful sandy beaches, and as a Searle’s lodge owner, you’re just a few minutes away from three. Click here for a satellite view showing your location relative to the nearest beaches.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes, we love dogs, but as a family resort we regret that certain breeds are excluded - please ask for details.

Can you buy to let?

No, for many of our owners, the peace and quiet of Redgate Court is one of the main reasons they chose Searles as a destination. Allowing owners to let their lodges would change the dynamic considerably with different holiday making families arriving each week. For this reason we've decided that inviting buy to let investors to the development would be against the best interests of our largest customer group.

Can our family and friends come and stay?

Absolutely, just so long as you make it available free of charge.

Are there any lodges to suit disabled people?

Yes, we can tailor make a lodge to suit your exact needs.

How long does a lodge last?

Lodges are built to residential standards so it really depends how well you look after it, with proper care they’ll last a lifetime. Buying a Holiday Lodge from Searles of Hunstanton is easy with our professional team to walk you through the process.

How long is the licence?

Different areas on the resort have different licences so always ask a member of the sales team about the tenure of the lodge you are interested in. If you were looking at purchasing a new lodge on our Redgate Court area you would be given a 45 year tenure on you licence agreement. Regardless of what you buy you the sales team will go through the paperwork with you and clearly explain to you how long the holiday home you are thinking of purchasing can stay on the resort and any procedures involved should you choose to sell it.

Can we live in our lodge all year round?

Searles Resort has a holiday licence which means that you cannot use your lodge as a main residence. You can use your lodge as much as you like during the 11 month season, but you cannot live here and we will require proof of residence at your main address.

When is the site open?

The site is open for lodge owners 11 months of the year. We close for a month in the New Year.

What facilities are there for children?

Redgate Court is a part of Searles Leisure group and as an owner you benefit from free use of many of the facilities on the adjoining Leisure Resort, so just a short walk away is something for all ages.  The facilities in the country park and leisure resort combined are second to none. There’s even a soft play centre and numerous kiddy clubs that young children will love. We like to think we have catered for all age groups. If you've read this far then you are serious about buying a luxury holiday lodge and we would love to help. Please use the contact form to make an appointment for a viewing or call us today.
