The Norfolk Coast has everything you need to fully recharge your batteries, and your new holiday home will be at the centre of this break, whether it's for a few days or the whole summer.

Are the Lodges built to last? Wood or CanExel?

We have a mix of traditional wooden lodges for sale along with some more modern composite "wood look" holiday homes. Most of our newer "wooden" holiday lodges are in fact a composite material called "CanExel". This material offers high durability with low maintenance. All of our holiday lodges, whether wood, CanExel or other, are built to residential standards and they are most definitely here to stay. How long really depends on how well you look after it. With regular sensible maintenance your lodge can last you a lifetime.

Are the traditional wooden lodges cold and drafty in the winter?

The exterior of our real wood lodges is indeed wood... otherwise they wouldn't be much of a wooden lodge ... but they are built several layers thick with modern construction standards creating a sandwich of thermal insulators between the exterior wood and the inner walls and ceilings. Our lodges are easy to manage the temperature because they are so well insulated keeping them warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Can you buy to let one of our holiday lodges?

For many of our owners, the peace and quiet of Redgate Court is one of the main reasons they chose Searles as a destination. Allowing owners to let their lodges would change the dynamic considerable with different holiday making families arriving each week. For this reason we've decided that inviting buy to let investors to the development would be against the best interests of our largest customer group.
